This cost about $22. Boots $15 - black paint and black wrinkle paint.
Blasted lowers and painted, blasted top 8" of tubes and painted after they were in the tree. Can always be touched up if ever needed.

TSheff: Not sure about the choice of blasting the top portion of the tubes and putting wrinkle paint on them. What are you going to do the next time you want to pull your front fork tubes off? Most likely, they will not slide through the triple trees. Terrible choice IMHO.

The bike was sold, however I would have buffed it, removed, replaced, and recoated. Not a big deal. Went with wrinkle so any variation wouldn't matter.
You know what they say about opinions.

I've been making these and selling them on ebay for a little while now. Askin' $25.00+shipping

I currently am selling them for sportsters and dynas but will make them for any bike you want.

That's a good idea! Just an sugestion, but you might try making a couple test parts with a 3/16" or so foam backer to bulk up the look and take the step out of transition from tree-tube-tree. Just a thought.
