Are T-Bars / Tall drag bars really that agressive?

I went with the drag bar and 8" riser set up. This was the typical Nor Cal lane splitter set up when I was a kid. The position is super comfortably, narrower than Z bars but plenty of leverage in the turns. The steering is more neutral than lower height drag bars so it doesn't take as much *** to lean the bike over in a sweeping turn. Also doesn't pre-load the shock as much as low drag bars so bumps aren't as harsh feeling.

Why not just run a 8-10" riser with a set of chrome tracker bars? I just picked up a set of night rod special bars that are similar style. They are 30.5" wide 3.25" rise and 3.5" pullback. I'm sticking with a 1.7" riser though.

The bars on my bike are great. I'm totally confident leaning the bike over and dragging the pegs on curvy roads.
Due to how early I touch down, I switched to 13.5" rear shocks. I also added some V&H straight shots. The muffler bracket was the only thing that scraped on a regular basis.
Then I did motor work and added a Thunderheader. It's the wrong pipe if you like to corner. Haven't had the bike running for more than a week and I'm already almost worn through the front head pipe under the foot peg...
