Default how to replace shifter rod lever

Lots of play wiith shifter rod lever (part no 34) around shifter shaft lever (part no 4). Shifter rod lever is bolt (part no33) is as tight as it can get. Just wanna get new firm setup, before its so worn out, that I cannot get gears changed anymore.

How to change it, do I need to rip off primary as whole, or is there any way to change it by opening the transmission case cover?

some "slops" is pretty normal , it sounds stupid but you might replace the bolt #33 as even if it is tight and clamping the arm on the splines if it wears it will let the arm slide off the shaft. make sure the shift arm is on fae enough so that the bolt lines up with the groove in the shaft if you can take the arm (34) of the shaft with out removing the bolt from the shift the bolt is work or installed incorrectly. and the gears have to come out to replace 4 too, but ill bet either 34 is stripped or 33 is worn.

I did have to unplug the spark plug wires and move them out of the way. I then loosened the trans shifter arm and with a 90 degree screwdriver I was able to pry the splines open a little bit. I tiped the top of the shifter arm towards the engine and there was enough clearance to sneak it out. The new shaft was already was never compressed so I did not have to pry it at all I just put it down in there at an angel and it slid right on no problem and I did not have to force anything it went right together about an hour and a half.

If the splines on #34 and #4 are damaged, then the primary comes apart, inner case comes off, the starter comes out to get the trans cover off, right hand trans cover comes off to get the shift shaft pawl (#4) replaced. A bit pricey at a dealership. I went that route for a damaged one this past fall.

Isn't number 4 steel and number 34 aluminum?

If #34 is alum. then he might just get away with pulling the primary apart.
