Default How to remove screaming eagle slip on baffles?

Took out the 4 bolts from each pipe. Put a key into one of the holes in the baffle, then attached vice grips.... Hammered like a virgin on his wedding night and Nothing...

Anyone got any good ideas on what it takes to remove these baffles?

If they are like the ones for a Sporty then you need to come at them from the engine end. Stick a broom handle type piece of wood down there to the tab and whale on it with a big hammer. Will still be a bitch to get moving though.

Makes you wonder why they even put those screws in. I removed the screws and the baffles would not budge. Maybe ride it with the screws out and they will work there way out?

I removed the mufflers, removed the bolts and tapped them out from the inlet end.
