Just took my first longer ride today with my 14" Windvest. What a difference. It was very windy today, but I can now cruise at 80mph comfortably. I no longer feel like I am going to fly off the bike at any time.

I bought the clear shield because I thought it looked less imposing on my bike and I think it does. Judge for yourself, but if you want/need a windshield this is the one to get. It makes a world of difference, no buffeting at all.

FWIW: 5'10" with 2" Spacer Jims Riser extensions and a LePera Bare Bones. Windshield adjusted down 1" to 13"...perfect!

 

I was thinking about getting a Windvest for long trips as well. How hard are these things to put on and take off? I don't think I need it when I'm riding around town.

 

It is a handlebar clamp mount. Easy and quick On-Off.

 

I currently have a 14" clear one for sale if anyone is interested.

I had one on my Fatbob, used it for long rides only, easy off and on (2 minute operation)! Out os all the shields I tried it looked the best, very adjustable and worked very well! I'm 6 foot.....

I sold the Fatbob and I still have it collecting dust if anyone is looking for a Smoke 14" off of a fatbob........
