Just took a ride with my 16" windvest. Works great, very small and keeps the wind off my noggin.

it's a great shield, I've had them on 2 bikes now. Did you order it from Doug at windvest? Did you know that harley tried to buy them out but he wouldn't sell it to them. Harley knows what works good on their bikes. Enjoy

They look good, but don't protect a large or tall guy. I'm 6 even and I was buffeted pretty bad over 80 mph and ate alot of bugs at normal speeds. Not practical

You didn't have it adjusted right. I use a 14" and am 6' also and have 0 buffeting. You have to play with the angle not so much the height.

I have one for my CVO Springer ST. Only option on that bike. Really don't like it and think it looks ugly on it since its a custom Springer. No windshield would.

That said, it functioned OK up to about 80 MPH. You need to find the sweet spot on its adjustment since it is just clamped to the handle bars.

I really don't like my H-D shield. It's the type to bolt On/unbolt Off....pita. Now reading this thread, I'm thinking of getting a windvest. Didn't know what a windvest was before. From what I've found they come in clear, smoke, and tinted. Thinking I might prefer smoke but I'm guessing. Preferences? thanks

I prefer the smoke version. They say if you have a dark bike get smoked, light bike clear. I think the smoke would look really good with your white bike
