As long as it's not binding is good. I'm running 15" bars and the stock routing was to tight with my stock SB cables as well. This set up below has been good to me for 2 years now and I'm still running the stock cables. I got rid of the idler cable also, and stock cables will do the trick.

Jaron what is the dimentions from the top of the trees to the top of your bars? My distace is 13". But my bars are36" wide from grip end to grip end. I see u ran the clutch cable a litte different than I did. Could u post a pic of how it's run since u r running stock street bob cables?

I'm not sure of the width or the height. If I remember right the height from the top of the trees to the top of the bars was just a hair over 15". I had duty yesterday, so I don't get home till this afternoon. I'll get the accurate measurements to you later. The way I routed it is the way I described above. I removed the clutch cable from the lever. Cut the zip tie under the motor that routes it across and I just routed it up the right down tube, keeping it on the right side of the neck and hooked her up and re-zip tied. That's all she wrote. I'll get better pics to you as well when I get home.

Jaron, i was messing around today and i see how you routed yours. No need for pics. Comming up the right side down tube, comming up through the trees, then infront of the bars. Does give at least 2 more inches. Thanks

Dang make me do all that work for you while I'm sleep deprived and you're just messin. Well since I did it anyways your getting it. Apes 35 grip end to end. Height from tree to top of bars is 18 inches. I didn't go through the trees, it should give you another inch or two from the other 2 inches from what you thought I did. Attention to detail....lol! I quit!

If you still haven't got your clutch side grip off the old bars, Just pry it open a little and spray some carb cleaner in there with that little staw. Wait a minute and give a good twist. It should come right off. I just did this 2 days ago on my stock mini apes.

Bars look sick. Good job!
