Got mine today. Called the dealer and they said to bring it in they would take care of it while I wait. Doing this tomorrow to give myself an excuse to go for a ride.

 

Exactly...... It has nothing to do with how simple it is to fix, it is whom fixes it.

 

Got mine today and will probably get it fixed by the dealer in the near future. Might as well let them do it, that way they have a record of it. My dealership is pretty good, so I am a bit more fortunate than some others.

 

Hmm... Well it says Manufactured Date 05-06

I guess that means May-2006

It couldn't mean 2005-June could it?

 

If you are not sure call the MoCo and give the customer service rep your vin number. They will tell you. But I loctited mine and it took all of 5 minutes. Much easier than making an appointment for service. If they want to screw with it at the 10k service fine but I'm not making a special trip. Besides.......I had to use a 3/8 ratchet to get mine loose....[:@]

 

Got my letter this week. My 1000 mile service will be done this spring. I'll have the dealer do it then.

 

Just got mine yesterday. Does anyone have pics of what this entails. I'd rather do it myself than take her in and pics would be nice. Thanks.
