Default Air cleaner Questio??????????

Anybody know anything about these? I kinda dig the look. Would like to see a pic. of one installed...................... Before the throttle thugs chime in. I know it might be a little restrictive, I'm not trying to gain performance, just like the look. Does anyone know how the breathers work? seems to me they would eventualy fill with oil and **** all over the bike. Any coments?

Sorry, I missed a letter in my thread title.

I think theyll work fine.. seen a couple bikes here and there with them. They are nice looking, not my cup of tea exactly but nice looking all the same...

as far as filling with oil I wouldnt think it would act any different that the AN Big Suckers but I dunno

I have one but in black. Never fitted it because after offering it up to the bike I decided it wasn't a look I wanted for the bike.

Build isn't too bad. No idea what the life of the finish might be. The breathers worried me. There's no valve in them like Crankvents so you would likely get them filling up and dripping, especially on older bikes with a bit of blowby. If I was to use it then I'd probably find something better for the breathers.

If ya go with the H-D Heavy breather, you don't have the hangy-danglys to fill with oil....

You can add whatever cut decorative cover you like...or just buy matching [bike] color oil for the element.

By using non genuine Harley Davidson parts, you risk death or serious injury.....
