No, they don't limit me, but every year, they i have to submit a milege statement so they know how many miles i drove the last year. The annual mileges are in 2,500 mile blocks, and every time you go up a block your insurance goes up, and if you go down, it goes down.
My Dyna is set at 5,000 miles per year, but i have rode 7,000 miles since the last submission in April, so by the time i hit april again i'll have gone 10,000 miles for the year and they will bump me up.
My truck is at 10,000 miles per year but i've only drove it 3,000 miles since last april (i wonder if that has something to do with the harley?) so i;'m going to go down half the annual miles which will lower the price on my truck, and my bike will go up.
FYI AAA doesn't offer medical coverage on motorcycles, but it doesn't matter becuase i have medical with my employer. I do have everything else though, bodily injury, collision, under/un-insured motorist, property damage, all that crap, so i feel confident.
Another thing, i pay like $130 a year for AAA Premier/MC I have 4 assistance calls for my bike, or anybody elses, with a limit of $300 per call. I also have 4 additional calls for my truck or any other vehicle, which gives me 1, 200 mile tow, and 3, 100 mile tows (anywhere i want to go, including my house). It covers a bunch of other crap too, but i'm not going to waste your time.

RE: What do you pay for Insurance?
12 months for my insurance. If you take a "Rider's Motorcycle Safety Course" you get an additional 10% to 20% off of that. Most insurance is based on an formula. If you are in an area with lots of people, lots of accidents, and lots of crotch rockets, it becomes expensive to insure. I've seen some ads in the bike rags for insurance, but haven't checked those out yet. I have my house insured with Auto Owners, my cars with Kemper, and my bike with another insurance agency. I think I will try to get everything under one coverage this year. My yearly insurance bill is around $4k, almost $350.00 a month. Yea, and we have to carry underinsured as well.
