I can't decide between getting Short shots w/quiet baffles or Big radius 2 into 2 for my 2012 Wide Glide.
I hear I will actually loose performance with the short shots, which is not what I want. How much better performing are the big radius 2 into 2 than the short shots? Yes I know that the 2 into 1 will give me the best performance, but I just don't like the look. Also I am worried about scraping the big radius when I lean it over, or is that something I shouldn't be worried about. Thanks for you help/opinions.

 

Personally everyone has v&h and I would look for something else, but have you considered sideshots? Have a built in crossover. The only v&h pipe I would get is the 2into1 comp pipe but that's just me

 

Long shots have a power chamber. They flow well on the WG IMO.

 

Don't get the short shots...but you already know that

 

i have the short shots on my street bob and i like em. they go with the whole 1950's old school style im trying to get

 

I habe a pair of short shots. I bought a propipe so these will be coming off. Chrome and in good shape. Pm me if you are interested.

 

My understanding is that there is a significant performance upside for the 2 into 2's that use 'psuedo 2 into 1' technology over exhaust systems that don't. There was an old thread that listed some dyno numbers on this, but I can't located it at the moment. My .02
