i too have used hairspray. never had an issue

I like my grips , but put them on with super glue.

These are the ISO grips I am using
The palm paddle is a larger one than the early ones that were pretty skinny and pointed
These are great
NOTE, this is not my bike with all that other crap on it, just photo I found on the web

Yeah that rubber pad is bigger then the one I recently installed.
