Lets see some different license plate mounts
I started making a new license plate mount this weekend and want to see some others before I get this powder coated.
I cut a piece of 3 inch pipe to fit my plate, cut a mounting bracket to attach to the inside of the lower shock and then welded it together. Only things left are to weld a 1/4 inch spacer to the bracket and get it powdered.

It looks like that wraps around the shock, yea? Would love to do something like that with mine but I'm surprised I haven't gotten pulled over for the way my plate sits already (have it vertical rather than horizontal on both bikes). It's now illegal in CA and while I haven't been pulled over for it yet my friend has...twice. I keep telling her it's only because you're a hot woman on a motorcycle and the cops are looking to get your phone number. LOL

I got the mount from Doc v twin... i just spent 15 min trying to find one for you as they are no longer made but you still may want to contact Drew at Doc V twin, i was able to find one for snoopy when i got him my old fender... but i was not able to find one. i do not see how that would work on the bobbed rear fender with out some mods however
