Got a Touring Windshield for my FXDC for Christmas - first time riding with a windshield and went out for 2hrs on Sat and really enjoyed it. Only had a little buffeting once I hit over 70mph but not too bad. I got the smoke quick detach.

Comes in handy if you caught in the rain also. Only my legs got wet.

 

I have the same windshield on my 11. Same buffeting experienced, Found the fix. Loosened the top mount bolts and tilted the windshield forward to an almost vertical position. It helped some. The final fix was the installation of a laminar lip #H2221C (clear). It was designed for a Honda Reflex, but Leo assured me it would work, and it did. The airflow is over the helmet now, and all buffeting is gone. Now very happy with the set up. tomp
