Default I may be a first but here goes

Ok I may be the first to ask this but here goes.
Have any of you dyna guys came off of a touring
bike to go to a dyna ,or back to a dyna?
I had a 2000 fxdwg that was totaled out after a
very bad wreck. Now, not a day goes by that I
don't miss her. She was a fine bike, I loved her and
she loved me. What to do What to do, I feel like I am
too young for a bagger but at 53 I am too old for a
dyna? How about a middle aged Switch back what are
your thoughts

LOL - Been a lot of guys on here who came back to a Dyna after a touring bike. Just depends on what you like and how you ride, etc. Personally, I have spent so much time making my bike fit me that most touring bikes I have sat on/ridden are very uncomfortable.

PS - Never too old or young for a Dyna.

I'm 59 and have both - Low Rider and HTK. Love 'em, but find myself riding the bagger much more due to the smoother ride.

I'm 40, and have a Street Glide and a Dyna. If I could only keep one, it would be the Dyna.

I'm almost 64 and ride a Dyna, and a lot of guys here are "more mature" than I am and they ride Dynas!!!

Ride what feels the best to you.

Guys in their 20s are on baggers 'cuz they're cool and have tunes and you can pack gear for great long trips...

I went from a 100th Anniversary FXD to a Road King and swiftly back to the Street Bob I have now.

The Road King was great on longer runs but I found it boring the rest of the time. I found myself riding slower and having less fun on the bike.

If money was no object then I would have a Road King or maybe a Street Glide but it would be next to my Dyna in the garage.

If luggage is important to you then a Switchback may be just what you need.

I just bought my first bagger (HTK) because it does what the other don't, well not as well. IMO.

I have one of each.

And the "to young for a bagger" thing. Never understood that.
