I am 55 and love my 06 SB, After many mods for comfort ( newest being Mustang Wide Vintage Solo w/ Driver Backrest ) I find it to be one of the most agile, responsive, rider friendly bikes I have ever owned. How many of us dont have the time for "road trips" that require a so called hwy cruiser? I have done rides of up to 600 mls. in a day and find my Dyna to be VERY road worthy. I like the fact that I dont have the heavy front end but that being said would like a fatter front tire. Age doesnt matter, just ask the 75 yr. old with the new Vette and the 30 yr. old wife.

58 with a FLHTC, a FXDB, and a XL1200L. Each has it's place/use. I go back and forth often although I am considering selling the EG since the g/f rides her own now and we have little use for a two-up with more luggage space than a mid-sized car.

Around town I much prefer the smaller bikes - easier the manage in traffic, stopping at lights, etc. Getting to the point where I really feel the weight of the tourer when I have to stop.

Long rides it can't be beat. Lean back into the backrest, crank up the tunes, and rack up the miles without feeling a bump.

I'm 43 and I have both. The Ultra gets used a lot more than the Dyna. Its all about comfort for me. I've had Lyme disease and 2 shoulder injuries. So, I don't last long on the superglide.
The superglide gets used when I go out on the charity rides or when the ride is only going to be an hour or so. Otherwise the ultra gets most of the miles.
I do love getting out with the guys to raise a little hell on thier sporties and stuff, because my superglide kicks a$$ lol
