I'm 51 and I just got a 2011 FXDC after riding Baggers for the last 7 years I'm still on the fence and adjusting it to my riding style. Right off the bat I realized I need to watch the speedo now I do miss the StreetGlide, I sold earlier this year, but I like them all.
I say your to young not to ride what you like!

I'm lucky enough to have both but if I could only have one I'd take the Dyna. I'm 52 (but I'm not sure how that happened - it sounds like I'm talking about someone else)

At 64, its a black Superglide Custom with no windshield for me. Personally, I think the styling of this bike is the essence of a motorcycle AND I really like the handling. Most of my riding is country roads by choice and I wouldn't want anything heavier. On the highway, it settles down nicely in 6th but is tiring after awhile with no windshield.

I get lots of compliments. Only obvious change from stock is SE slip ons.

When I hit middle age, I might consider a RK but only if I start doing long distance touring. For now, my jaunts around New England are perfect on the SG.

Dad is 79 and rides a sporty.

I rode a DYNA for 6 years, traded for my Streetglide life is good.

Age is irrelevant....ride what you wnat....if the bagger isn't working...then make the change.

Life is short and goes by REAL fast. No sense waiting when you don't know when your time is up.

Baggers are great for hauling more stuff, both work good for hauling you...no difference in that department.

I have a Ultra, and a Ninja. I do think I have outgrown the Ninja, and am looking at a Dyna as a suitable replacement. Also thinking Vrod, but my wife has stated she would not enjoy its rear seat.

Having now had it, I can't imagine going without my Cruise, and Stereo by choice.
