I just bought one of those DOT helmets slightly larger than a novelty. That's what I ride with - in my saddlebag.

My answer would be .... all of the above.... I have eight helmets,, and will were a different one depending on the weather or where I am riding at... If I am riding in a state with no helmet law,, sometimes no helmet at all.

Sorry, no images of the helmets at this moment, I never thought anyone would be interested in gear Currently I've got 3 full face helmets, a Scorpion EXO-R2000 and 2 Bell Star Carbon Fiber helmets, I tend to swap which one I ride with but I'm really a fan of the Bell Star Carbon Fiber helmets. Very comfortable, no vibration or howl, they're both set up with Transitions Photochromic face shields which I just love, it's too bad Transitions shields aren't available for every FF helmet.

I tend to replace helmets frequently as new models made of improved materials become available but I'm keeping these Bell Star helmets, they are nice At one time in the past I'd wear HeadTrip carbon fiber half helmets on the HD's and the FF helmets on the sportbikes but reality finally took hold and I gave the HeadTrip helmets away and only wear full face, the asphalt doesn't care what make of bike you were riding when you hit it...

I'm pretty impressed with the pole stats with only 7% claiming no helment. Adding that to the 1/2 helment and that is a third. I was suprised to see the FF helment come in at a third of all voting with the 3/4 being the other third.

My guess would have been 3/4 style at about a 50-60% and FF at under 20%. That would leave half style and none at an expected 20-25%

I used to laugh at the helmet before I bought one. I tell you what, the Bell Rogue is comfortable, has maybe less wind noise than my modular helmet, and the goofy "muzzle" actually is terrific, haha. It's great at blocking cold wind or allowing just enough of a nice breeze in during even the warmer months. I've been very impressed for just over a year now.

When it's way too cold, I'll pull out the modular (the reduction in peripheral vision with anything other than the Rogue is shocking at first).

So the 'muzzle' gives the vision of a 3/4 with the ventilation lost to the FF yet still gives a sorta FF protection. Huh, whooda thought. May be worth trying one on.
