Like many i thought the 1st thing that needed to be replaced was the stock seat. I owned a few mustang seats so that was the direction i went. I bought one with a removable drivers backrest. I like the look of the stock seat. Its low and sleak but just not comfortable for my big butt.

When I first bought my wide glide last summer everybody told me I would hate the seat. I don't have a problem with it to be perfectly honest. I think it's comfortable. I haven't ridden anybody on the back so the verdict is still out on that but I don't pay too much attention to the comfort of it b/c it is rare that I have a passenger riding.

I hate the stock seat it not comfortable at all for me with no back support. So I went with a Danny Gray weekday 2up and it's night and day comfy with back support love it.

Stock seat is horrible, the switch to a C&C seat was one of my first mods.

I don't think its too bad but its not awesome either, I have not done any super long trips so I can't say how bad/great it is under those conditions but for anything under 3 or so hours it seems fine to me.

my stock seat was ok, no worse than any other stock seat.
but i got a deal on a nearly new mustang solo.
if you have a few spare $$$, buy one!!!!!!
they are worth their weight in gold.

I find the stock seat comfortable. But that Danny Gray really looks nice.

If you think the stock seat is comfortable then you need to sit on my Mustang solo seat. I can ride all day and never get a sore butt. The stock seat is no better than sitting on a BRICK.
