Default Rear turn signals

Installing an HD side mount license plate bracket on my 07 FXDC. Looks to be pretty straight forward.... Lol... I can't figure out how to remove the left rear turn signal... The install sheet refers me to the service manual, which I do not have, yet...

Can anyone help me with some guidance in getting this damn turn signal removed?

Thanks....

look/feel up between the fender and the tire, you should feel a bolt head 1/2 or 9/16, can't remember which. that's the bolt holding the turn signal on. you will also need to remove the brake light cover to disconnect the turn signal wire.

There doesn't seem to be a bolt. The signal housing screws off, but it will not come free because of the wires

It sounds like you got the right side off. Both sides are attached the same way.

. No. Only requires the left one to come off. Also, I still have the sidemounts on for the quick detach sissy bar and the turn signals are attached to the end of them....
