Well the rims are done and on the bike. Took it for a short ride and they look great.

Certainly different, I like different.
Don't think I would be that bold, without the frame as well.

I like it! A lot!!! The rims really came out nice. Like mudpuddle said, Bold move on your part. If my old Sporty did not have aluminum rims I would do the same thing myself. Especially in red.
Are you saying you are going to paint the bike? If so, what color? I think red on the tins and frame would be a knock out. But then, I guess I like red, in case you cannot tell.
The chrome spokes and the red rims are just beautiful. Good job..........pg
