RE: Which Slip On's...??
mcro - The quite baffles that V&H sells dont " Quite " the pipes at all. On my SportsterI had V&H Slip ons and they were loud and they had a " tinny" sound to them. The quite baffles just gave them a deep rumble / throaty sound - and they were still plenty loud.

I have set off a car alarm or 2 while riding in the city.
ORIGINAL: SUPER01
Cycle Shack makes a good slip-on for a nice price, around $150 for a pair. The company has been around a long time.
I have the tapered ones on my 2001 Superglide and they sound great.

The above statement is true, had them on my '98 but frankly they were too damned loud.

I bought the same slip-ons for my Super Glide a month ago and have yet to change the AC. I get some mior pops here and there but no major worries. Your gonna like them. I think they sound great, but not to loud as to get you pulled over by the noise police. [sm=smiley16.gif]

I just fit the 'quiet' baffles in my V&H ... the description is wrong ... it should say something like "takes all the tinny sounds away and makes it sound even sweeter' baffles ... its all low frequency sound, rumbles nicely ... sweet. Does not make the bike any quieter ...
