Saddlebag help
#2
I asked Santa for a set of Saddleman express cruis'n with the shock cut out. I don't like all of the buckles and studs, so these were the best looking ones I found. Right at $200 from most places. They have a rigid backside also. Should make mounting them pretty easy. I'll probably fab my own mounts. I know most people recomend Leather Pros, but they were too ornate and pricey for me.

It's the medium low upright medallion style with the smooth bucket pad. It's big but the wife likes it. Also the seat is huge but again the wife likes it. I just got a solo seat yesterday and getting ready to change out the sideplates to the detachable ones. I will post a picture for from the rear if I can find one.

the problem your going to have is signal light location, anything larger than the small
bags just wont work with the stock setup.
on the wideglide i just traded in i had the easy brackets which i found to be the best
solution, this way i could remove the bags as necessary which actually was never because
once you get used to them it is hard to do without them....

If you aren't planning on carrying a whole lot, the Dyna Slant throwovers might work. I'm probably going to go that route when I get some bags.
