Default I found a rare Fat Bob on ebay

i'm being a smarty, but i'm in that kind of mood. was looking around ebay and found this: (btw, i hope this isn't one of you guys)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84.m1423.l2649

at the bottom someone asked if it had ABS and he said yes. so i wrote to him and asked if he was sure it came with ABS because it wasn't an option until 2012 models.

his reply was that both the dealer and his manual confirms ABS on the bike. i could just drop it, but someone may get this bike and think it has ABS, or i am missing something.

i feel like writing and asking which dealer, so i can speak with them and also ask him to send me a picture of the front wheel black spacer. i could also ask him to tell me if he's ever seen the ABS light flash.

or I could do nothing, it just bugs me a little -

what would you do? maybe you should all ask him the same question and maybe he'll get it.

thx - tin

You could ask him about the ABS light. Or about the speed sensor wire that runs down the left front brake line. He has neither.

Send him this:

Judy Wilson, 50, of Lincoln, charged in her suit that a salesman at Harley-Davidson of Sacramento negligently led her and her estranged husband to believe that the 2008 Road Glide cruiser they bought in 2008 had an anti-locking brake system when it did not.

Enquiring minds want to know LOL. I certainly hope he was just ignorant . I hate it when people lie about there bikes to sell them. its just low. 200 HP S.E. 103 is the best (and worst ) I think I have heard.

He used WD-40 on the brake pads . . . thus he is correct in as much as you can not lock the brakes up. Of course the bike won't stop either . . . but you all are missing the point . . . it does in fact have anti-lock brakes!
