Default Black Betty...The Final Chapter...

Well through the joys of over time, the many ideas I got off here and a really easy going wife Im finished with my bike...almost...kinda funny how things work, I had just finished going back together and was going to get it tuned. I walk into work and BLAM laid off. 8 damn years down the drain. So I come home get my **** in order and decided to pay off my bike and some other crap. pretty shitty end to the year. BUT two weeks off work and the phone calls and offers start rolling in. I got a job in my own town managing a hvac department (my field), more money, closer to home, better people. win, win, win. anyway now I have to wait to get it to the dyno until after the first of the year. I guess they are pretty busy with builds and tunes, 4 weeks out. I can tell you this IT FREAKIN RIPS!!! ITS PAID OFF!!! I will give a complete rundown now and update after the dyno tune...
- 16" nash pudgy gimps
- +4 idle/throttle, +4 clutch, +2 brake
- 2" nash slugger risers polished
- polished primary, cam cover, transmission cover, clutch release cover
- hd side plates and tall sissy bar
- 2008 dyna rear fender
- rwd shorty forty front fender
- kuryakan lowpro red led taillight
- hogrida laydown plate
- chrome axle caps
- hd factory rubber pegs, harley stirrups, flush mount pins
- arlen ness smooth black soft grips
- fatbob rear shocks 12", 1" progressive front springs
- sherwin williams hot rod black (paint shop did for free, got laid off or would have been powder pro)
- hd 2011 superglide custom embloms
- semi gloss black lowers, trees, forward controls, sissy bar, side plates, dash, bars, clutch perch, master cylinder, levers, headlight bucket, mirror
- semi gloss black lowrider dash, tach and wiring harness
- c&c square back custom, back extra 2" and 15" wide
- Rakaposhi leather saddlebags, great bags for the $.
- 21" front 120/70/21 17" rear 170/60/17 metzlers
- rinehart 2 into 1
- screaming eagle red 10mm wires
- 54h cams
- 30t pulley
- clutch spring,
- se compensator,
- heavy breather
- don dorfman heads, jugs
- manual comp release
- 103" kb pistons
- hd oil cooler (26110-05)
- pcv (canned map until 1/20/12 then custom tune!)
I know its a shitty picture, done with a cell phone. i will get some better pics soon. got three things left and Im pretty much done for good, led headlight, crash bar and highway pegs, maybe a windshield. We have a pretty long trip planned out 2100 highway miles and about 2 days at each destination. I would guess 3000 by the time we get home. going to average that in 7 days. cant wait we are gonna have a blast, and Im gonna rip this pig up!!!

thanks don! to be honest I hate the bags and sissy bar, but with my son riding now its needed and them bags are way to damn handy! OBTW I ended up with a 70t rear pulley and new rotors, just have to figure out what belt will work before the tune. get that done and they are going to use the tts so they can change my speedo. thanks again for that tip. could you tell me again what belt you run?

It looks great. I know what you mean about the bags, I have the same ones. I like the look without them but I seem to never leave home unless they are on. They are too handy.
