Default Touring air shocks installed w/pictures

I was going to get the progressive 430 at first but changed my mind, ordered these shocks from Latus Harley Oregon 2 days ago, one day fast shipping to WA, put them on this evening, these are the low profile RK shocks, measure exact same height. Now I am waiting for a sunny day to try them out, stay tuned!

I am very interested...

Were there any problems during installation, or everything is bolt-on?

And one more question ... I think their places must be reversed and the air valve is up?

I wont matter which way they are mounted but with the valves up filling them will be easier. Make sure you are using a shock pump and NOT a compressor or you'll blow the seals. Start about 15psi and go up 5lbs at a time - I run mine about 25psi most of the time.

I don't want the valves pointing up, so I install them up side down, hate to show them.
Installation is easy, shouldn't take more than 20 mins for both side, I cannot reuse the top chrome covers though, the chrome cover is out of place anyway, don't mind at all.

Why? Take a look at the RK and SG, the air ports point down attached to air hoses, the ports are made for putting air in, I can't see why you want the valves up, I know everyone place the valves up, not me .

Thanks for the headsup, I never thought of that, was going to use a compressor to charge them, thanks for stopping me lol . Either way is easy to fill air, I like to hide the valves if I could. Do you think I can use air from gas station? Pressure shouldn't be that high anyway.
