Hey Hell hound. I put a set on my Fatbob. I have a Q-detach windshield and have a lot of wind coming up in front of the tank. I put the lowers on and it made a real improvement on calming down the wind. Before I could hold my hand between the windshield and tank and ride my hand on a wave of air, with the lowers installed the it is much calmer. They don't get rid of all the buffeting but I don't ride an Ultra. I would recommend them. Mike

thanks for the response
i normally dont use a windshield but i have one that has been sitting in the garage for a few years that i dont use because of the buffeting and i am thinking of giving it another try because i am doing lots of communting between san antonio and austin . I think i will try it with the lowers and shield on those commuts, i only have to go 1 or two days a week so i would like to have it all quick disconnect

Have a set on my Fat Bob as well. Took a trip to TN last summer with them installed and they worked out great. Takes a bit of tuning to get them at the right angle/height for your liking but well worth it. I'm not sure if they have 'quick disconnect' brackets for the lowers, but they can be off in 10 seconds with an allen wrench.

While I have not yet used them, I have heard good things about them from other members of this forum. The only thing holding me back is the cost.

There was a thread out here a little while back about someone making some and attaching them with some basic brackets found at any hardware store. Try doing a search and see what you come up with.
