Default Fat bob white walls...180/65-16...150/80-16?

Still in seach of some white walls. Would it be ok if the rear tire is a little shorter?

I found some 180/65-16's....RKC tires...kind of expensive though.

I was also looking at going with a narrower tire? Still looking for a 170 but found a few 150s...Would rather stay with the wider back tire though.

Here is what I'm thinking I may do...(Link)
Front stock size Metzeler

Rear 150..Metzeler

The difference between those two tires is less than 2%. Your speedometer is most likely off already by more than that. I took the 17 inch rear wheel off my Street Bob and put the 180/65-16 touring tire WWW on. Using my GPS unit, my Street Bob speedometer is now more accurate than my stock Electra-Glide.

Thanks, I'm going with the Metzeler ME880's in the Fat Bob's stock sizes. They have the front and I'll get the mooneyes for the rear.

I went for the Dunlop 407/408F. Shorter at the rear and with the side effect of sliding the muffler on the floor in narrow turns... but nothing really serious enough for me to give up on white walls.

Ciao.

If you want to have white walls made you can always call up diamond back tires as have them make you a set as well. Some of teh softail guys have had white walls made here and they are super cherry. Not inexpensive but really nice.
