Looks good...Just an FYI, just because the bars are below your shoulders does not make them 50 state legal. Stock mini apes on an 05 Wide Glide are not legal in many states like WV, DC, and Maryland for instance, their law is 15" above the seat to the top of the bars which is absurd. PA has no restrictions like Virginia. Good thing you do not have to be compliant in states other than where it is registered.

AZ, hands can't be above your shoulders. But it is not enforced that much. Just gives them a reason to pull you over & check you out.

just something to think about when it comes to cables. you can save some headache if you wait until you mount the bars , then measure and order your cables.

Good point, I wonder if I can stretch the stock ones, ya know, get a set of bars but not as tall? may be a set of risers, and leave the drag bars.

Carlini 14" Flying Apes got here a couple of days ago. Waiting for the garage to warm up a bit so I can get out there and get them on.

i had the bars before i ordered cables. i used a piece of hose to measure them but i should have been more careful. 2 inches shorter on the clutch and throttle cables would have been perfect but oh well.
