XiED's... thoughts or reviews?

Then Xieds aren't for you.
They aren't a stage-1 solution. What they do is richen things a bit at low revs and throttle openings, this reduces temperatures and may fix some minor surging issues. An OK idea on a stock bike but on a stage-1 bike they do nothing during open loop running (higher revs and wider throttle), which is where you are trying to get a benefit with your stage-1.
What they are not is a performance upgrade to the fueling to match the $x00s you have spent on the pipes and A/C. For that you need something like a PC or SEPST.

I ran them a year with the rush 1.75 slip-ons and K+N filter element only and it was OK, the low end improved . For the money they are a great upgrade.
However if your going with a high flow intake I would recommend a tuner instead.
I had decell popping slowing down in lower gears. I don't now.
I finally moved up to a tuner with the high flow intake. I am looking for a better exaust next.

These look almost too good to be true. Great Price. I'm only planning on going to Stage 1 on my '11 WG, and these look like they may do the trick. Not a lot of information on them though, and i'm looking for some comments from owners who have had them installed. Thanks all in advance...

It will allow your bike to run cooler with the fuel enrichment, and save you hundreds of clams in the process over a tuner.
I bought a brand new SuperGlide and drove it stock from Phoenix AZ to Las Vegas NV and back....in 100+ degree heat.
It was a hot ****** for sure.
Back at the dealer in Phoenix, I purchased a V&H exhaust system and had them install it, along with a SE stage1 air intake and the Xied.
I then drove the moto from Phoneix to Yuma AZ in hot ****** heat again, yet I could distinctly notice less heat coming up from the engine.
No I did not put a gauge on it and am only guessing....but I know hot from ****** hot!!
If your looking for a cooler running engine (which you should be by the way...heat is a killer of all life, flesh and steel) then the Xied is for you.
If your a highly tuned sort and want your engine running like a Swiss watch.....then a more advanced tuner could fit your bill.
$100 clams vs $400 clams....you make the call...but a Xied will work and it works rather well with no noticeable hicups.
Spending a hundred clams on a device that helps your engine run cooler should never be considered a waste.
It is money well spent until such time you decide which road you wish to take.
