My New WG...

I did the same thing right out of the gate. It was the biggest mistake as of yet. I hated the sound of the sewing machine so i bought rush slipons from the dealer. Paid like 300 or so and 150 for the stage 1 download. Not soon after i realized the slipons just wont cut it. Still wasent right. So i sold them for the full system that i should have gotten in the 1st place. I wished someone told me not to do it when i did. Could of saved over 400 bucks. I was able to sell the slipons for like 125 bucks i think. And the 150 for the stage 1 download went right out the window since i bought a tuner.

Nice bike! I almost wish I'd waited until the '12 models came out, but who knew?
I love my Wide Glide! Been through a few exhaust mods, but I really dig the Bassani Road Rage 2 long system. Not too loud when cruising, but really barks when I throttle it. Low end torque is nice.
I'm also running a SE Stage 1 air cleaner under the stock cover, and a Power Commander PC-V with auto-tune.
These mods really wake up the engine, and help keep it cool.
