RE: Chopped Rear Fender - Part 1 UPDATE 12/23/06
I am just using a stock fender and filling in the tail light hole.I just used a piece form the trimmed fender and riveted into place. My daughter painted the rivets with model paint for me.
It looks bad like this, so I mounted my Plate/ light on and it is not even noticeable.
I also orderd another LED light and mocked it up on a piece of cardboard to get an idea of placement.
I wanted to make sure I had more light than just that from the plate mount since my daughter rides with me a lot...wanted to be safe.
It got rid of the stock light and should look good on the bike...both things I wanted to accomplish.
