Definitely Wide Glide!! I sat on and rode both before I decided on the Wide Glide...in fact I rode just about every bike in the shop! And if you are taller like me, you will love the extra length of the Wide Glide.

You should definately look at Honda, Victory, and lots of other makes as well. I did and ultimately narrowed it down to the WG and the FB as my top two. Renting for a weekend convenced me that the FB was the bike for me. 10,000 miles later I still feel good about my choice. Take you time and look at all your options. Ride as many as you can and get the one that you like best.

If you have been on a Street Glide for a while now, you might not like how the thin front tire of the wide glide feels. Lighter and thinner won't track as well over uneven pavement, especially if there are grooves.

Wide Glide, especially now that they trashed the Dunflops. I had the same dilemma.

If you like the fat bob but not the fender go for the fat boy.

NOoooooooooooooooooo!!! If you can't swing the Harley, take your time and do some shopping over the winter. Used bikes will be abundant...

My choice...Fat Bob All the way! Forks, brakes, rake/trail = handling...Good Luck!

If you are into chopper style, then the obvious choice between these 2 is The WG. I think everyone would agree its the better looking bike. It rides great.
Its not like you see a grove in the road and have to take major action, its not
really an issue at all. Im sure The fat bob is great and handles better, so if your going to ride ***** out to the limits, choose that one.

Honda - Yuck. I would go Vic b4 Honda, Even Star Raider can be bought at a discount. Sorry your having to give up the SG did you like it ???
