Does anyone know if the stock exhaust on an 09 Fat Bob has a catalytic converter? I had heard that it was in the section where the two pipes join into one, but I don't think it is after I ran a wire thru there and it didn't hit anything. So either it doesn't have a cat, or its in the muffler section. Anyone know?
My understanding (and experience from buying replacement downpipes) is that '08 didn't have a cat but from '09 there is one in the 1 section of the 2-1-2.
If you don't have one you maybe have an early '09 before they started fitting them?

I can't give you a firm answer on that - seller I purchased from simply listed the header as an '09 F-Bob take-off.
Possible the HD Int'l production models are different than the USA models?

Was it a guy on (USA) eBay? If so, then I got some from him too and he agreed after he was uncertain about the year.
The 2009 CVO FatBob (103s) and some california models had cats in the 2-1-2 collector. Otherwise cat free. The CVO forum has photos and instructions for how to ream them out. Some other HD dynas had cats in the mufflers, some had them higher in the header, but not the FatBob.
