Default Winter storage

Question:

Do you fill the tires to "max tire pressure"or leave them at the recomended riding pressure.
AND do I have to get the tires off the cold concrete garage floor...or can I just put something under the tires like a tarp or piece of carpeting???

also do you change the oil BEFORE storing it for the winter OR in the spring before riding season???

Thanks All

i would go with rec pressures, put the bike on plywood or on a lift jack if you have one.

Yes change the engine oil and filter before storage, you want to get the byproducts of combustion out of the motor

also add stybil to the gas and fill the tank

use a battery tender

It really should not matter leaving the tires on concrete. I never had any problem. Leave tires at normal psi. Air will leak out so you might want to check, add air as need, and move bike a little. One thing after changing oil take bike out for a ride. This will run new oil through engine.
