Mrnone... starting to look cherry... So where are the whitewalls?
Ok so I will pose a question here to see what kind of response I get. I was at the local watering hole the other day and a friend rode up on his Heritage plus one of the guys with a RK and we got to looking and talking... then some more talking and looking... One of my buds pulled out his tape measure to check the width of the outside diminisions of the FLD, STC and the FLHR. We also checked the Aux light bar that is on the STC and I could almost swear that it would fit on the FLD. Now am I wrong or is the width just slightly different?

Saw the pics of the Batwing and it looks awesome! keeping up with your mods is so fun! You've done so much in the last 2wks, but what do you like the best? I like the lights, they look great and utilize visual safety from cagers. I think most everything you've added are important functional mods, IMHO.
Great work, great looking bike

I measured my bagger and saw the similarity.
the width is where it ends
the upright plates are way too short not to mention the angle the stretch forward to clear detach windshield....
before the brackets that i used fell in my lap for five bux I had already purchased a used light bar from another bagger for 20
I was going to cut and grinnd , yell at it, bend it, heat with a torch, run it over with my truck, whatever I had to do to make it work figured I rechrome it later.
the way it worked out I drilled one hole in the SS bracket and bolted it on
waiting for a crack to form before I weld on a crossbar for them. no cracks no crossbar.
I kick around the idea of mounting the whole mess to the detach batwing I am making.
no need for passing lamps unless I am touring and if I am touring the batwing will be front and center so it makes sense
I do not want to lose the ability to strip this bike to nothing
if anyone needs a light bar to make work
I will pass on the savings 20 bux its yours
rode 350 miles today 2 up my chix *** hurts
she never complained on my electraglide ever
good thing she is riding her own bike 90 percent of the time
