Tis true – ever since I got my first computer in around ’96 I was looking toward editing video on my computer. I had an ATI All In Wonder to capture analog in the late 90s, but only stepped up to Mini DV in ’07 which edited fairly easily on my then new dual core 2.8 ghz machine – then recently picked up a Canon HF S20 for HD. Had no idea that the AVCHD was going to swamp my dual core machine so badly! Wow!

I feel better that you are a Pro though – whew! I was thinking; man, this guy just made me look like such an idiot thinking I was doing something. LOL

Kickstarter is a cool site too – saw that a few months ago in a digital video magazine. I’m considering a documentary project that I might seek funding for on there possibly.
