Shouldn't have any issues I bought it when you lived out of state. Can't penalize ya for living somewhere else before moving to cali.

Probably this if anything. I don't think they passed the law to smog bikes yet. I'll ask my dad to make sure next time I talk to him.

They don't smog bikes in CA. I've lived here all my life and haven't had to pass a smog test yet.

My dad said they don't smog bikes down there, so you should just register, show proof of insurance, get new plates and go. Here's the DMV how too:

Here's another link that tells you all the rules about bikes. Scroll down to motorcycle.

Default when you arrive

let's ride when you arrive. have a safe trip to cal
You will only have to register for sticker and plates. No smog...yet.
Keep the throttle down in areas like La Jolla, Del Mar, Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. The law may pull you over to discuss how nice your pipes sound.

Default Welcome back

Seeing as how you are a Zappa fan, we could use the extra help keeping the flag hoisted.

I will be living in Imperial Beach. As far as the pipes go as long as I don't twist the wrist too much it's fairly mellow. And insurance on a bike is new to me.Really?? Washington no Florida no
