The pictures suck but what a difference. Probably the best value I have ever gotten from Harley. This thing is made very well, very heavy and nice chrome. Here's a couple of pictures, though it looks much better in person.

I got one too, just a little worried about the adhesive tape that holds it on...as heavy as it is you;d think it would connect differently...time will tell i guess..looks better though.

I don't have highway pegs, but it would definitely be in the way. If you have or want to run highway pegs or forward controls, you could buy a shorter one. Mine is too long. It's about 3 1/2" long x 3 1/2" diameter.

I don't know, time will tell, but that adhesive is very strong. I think it will be OK.

Waiting for the band with the superglide script for mine, seen it on a 07 SG custom.

I didn't trust it on mine. I went down to home depo and bought some silicon glue and loaded it up in between the 2 strips of doubleback tape. I think it's on to stay

Yeah that does look nice but I got mine for the electric box cover; Part # 66429-06. It's not in the parts and Accessories catalog but in the factory parts manual. The parts guy at Biggs in San Marcos gave me an arguement that it was not listed in their catalog. Took me a while to get him to look it up by the part number. It's a stick on part, warm the cover and the strap a little to get a good bond.

Best,

Pixs

Can you post a pic of your electrical box cover? Biggs SM is where I shop too. It's the closest of the 6 or so H-D shops in SD county.

Nice bike what brand of pipes do you have? Did you have to retune the computer when you changed your exhaust?
