Well, you can do, it depends why you are doing the 103" though. If its so you can have a label on the side that says 103" then just stick with the FP. If, however, the idea of the 103" was to get the best performance from the bike you can, then finish the job properly and put something on that will let you set the fueling and timing to match the engine upgrade.
Thing about a FP is that its a course adjustment or guestimate of fueling needed and it doesn't let you adjust the timing. Its also nearly ineffective at closed loop (cruising, low/mid revs), which means the engine is running lean most of the time and will be worse after the 103". You really want the thing falling apart in the next x000 miles because you didn't finish the job?

Why are you only doing a 103? I think the 96" engine can be taken to 107" without a problem and without cracking into the bottom end.
