yeah i emailed them a few days ago...i suppose you could just get an o2 bung adapter to fit the threads and all that n just get the ones that are out now....but as of now for a direct fit they only have the big shots and the big radius for the 12s

Yes, they changed the system for the 2012's. They use a CANBUS system like teh 2011 softails. I have been waiting for 2 months to order a tuner. I personally will be going with the power vision but havent been able to find any type of tuners yet...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can I just install the pipes and have the dealer do the download to the ECM? I don't plan on doing too much motor work, so I wouldn't really a tuner right? Just the one download and I should be set?

changing the bun isn't that hard. Any exhaust company can do it.
Then you could use what ever

Stag, if you are only running pipes and an A/C you can get the SE stage 1 download from your dealer, however, these are canned downloads designed for the SE stage 1 kit, so if you are running other pipes and A/C the download will not take full advantage.

The 2012 Dynas now use a 12mm O2 sensor as opposed the the older 18mm, softails and the bigger touring bikes have been using the 12mm sensors for about 2 years. Like I said before, Bassani is just shipping their pipes with bung adapters, makes sense to me as they don't have to carry a separate part number for pre 2011 bikes and 2012 bike.

Thanks a lot fiasco, gave me plenty of insight into this. I just plan on running pipes and an air cleaner. The dealer download will most likely be sufficient for me and in the future, if I decide to have motor work done, I'll invest in a tuner. Thanks again.

I would assume the dealer download will still utilize the O2 sensors? Ill have to email V&H to see if they can make the adapters like Bassani.

Okay, so in theory the big shot exhaust that is technically for an 06-11 dyna will work on my 12 superglide with the use of these

Does the o2 thread into them and then they thread into the exhaust or are they weld ins? I'm about to just wait for the right exhaust. Lol. F this.
