Turn the pack around, get some apes so hands are at shoulder height and pegs for the highway bars.

I do ride with 50 too 68 yrs old riders just so you know.
here is my bike how it looks
I'm 60 and was going to buy a WG before changing mind to an FLD. I was going to remove the existing riser and bars and change out to a 4" riser and 6" z-bars. Up front I was going to run a quarter faring and leather bags for the back. also I was going to change out the sissy bar to something decent looking but not sure what...old school, but fairly short. NOT HD sisy bar, they don't offer a decent one I don't think. OK, that;s me...oh yeah the pipes too. The stockers with that big bend on them looks really out of place but you already took care of that problem. The WG is the perfect basis for so many looks and vibes, good luck...I'm sure it will come out great.

Looks fine in the first posted picture to me. Just get rid of the crash bar IMO. For a sleeker look, get a lepera daytona seat(fastback style), re-install stock backrest support and keep the rack and bag if storage is necessary. If a tool bag will work for storage, install one by the front motor mount and go with just a fastback seat. I suggest fastback seat because IMO both the fatbob and wideglide do not look right with just a solo seat and bare fender.

This is my opinion...since you are asking. I am 55 years old. The new Wide Glide is a bike that should have an edge or attitude to it. It is not a touring bike. If you want a touring bike, get a touring bike. Now that is not to say you can't dress it up to have an edge and then make provisions to add a shield and take it off. Add a bag and take it off, if you need to. However keep an edge on the bike... I like your bike better stripped than I do with all the extra's on.
Remember this is only my opinion... Do what makes you happy! It is your bike...
