Well, I was checking out my bike today and saw that the rear fender is cracked in two places.

I guess it's my fault because I relocated my rear signals behind the shocks. I sandwiched the fender between washers, but that fender was pretty flimsy. Guess it couldn't take the vibration!


One of the selling points about a Harley over the Metrics was supposed to be the "metal" fenders. I'm pretty disappointed that the metal seems pretty poor quality. It seems pretty brittle.

Anyone know of a good place to look for a new fender or know of any other fenders that fit?

That sucks. I'm looking at relocating my rear signals like you did. I picked up an '06 Street Bob rear fender off Ebay for $100 try your search there, you might get lucky and find an exact color replacement. Good Luck.

Seriously though, if you do, look into making some large backing pieces for the backside of the fender...or go with some small turn signals.

 

I'll have to take a look at it, haven't crossed that bridge yet. I'm looking at bobbing the fender. I might go with the smaller lights if need be.
