Default Cleaning & Maintaining your HD

Newbie question: What kind of soap and chrome cleaner /polisher do you use? On my sport bike I used any kind of soap and Honda spray. Also for maintenance, what preference on oil and filters?

i use windex (denim paint) to clean the entire bike, hand buffing the chrome and aluminum with a dry microfiber towel. then i polish the legs and trees with all metal polish (mothers or meguires). if the engine is real dirty, i use soap and water with a 2" paintbrush. cleans the motor and especially the fins on the jugs real good.

as for oil, im an amsoil guy. 20w30 in engine and primary, 75w110 severe gear in the trans.

For cleaning and Maintenance I use Griot's products exclusively.
Oil is Mobil 1, filters HD.

M1 and HD filters. Nothing beats the old school Turtle Chrome Polish and Rust Remover. Bath time gets Simple Green then a spritz with detailer. Spectro in the trans and HD Formula+ in the primary

Same here, except I use Mother's products.

Spray the whole bike with Simple Green, let it sit awhile then give it a blow dry. Only wax once a season.

Wizards cleaning products (best there is IMO) http://www.wizardsproducts.com/ and HD synthetic in all three holes with a HD filter (still under warranty so I like to have the records at the dealership hence the HD filter and oil).

Been using the Turtle Wax Eagle One glass cleaner on chrome, and their Ice detailer spray. Meguiar's Carnuba wax and microfiber for everything. Bought a mixed color 20 pack and color code for different purposes.

Swapped to the SE synth 3 at 1000 mile, but probably going to go to mobile 1 next change. Need to research the synth a little more see if it's actually that good or just snake oil priced.

So a couple questions on this -
Someone told me a couple weeks ago to use a pwr washer on the wheels but this seems overkill to me?
Also recommend using my leaf blower to dry? Never thought of it but it sounds like it would speed the process up?
