Good statement. I think thats what the real big draw to Harley's is in general, its something that you can make your own. Whether its mainstream or not, you customize it the way you want.

leaving a Harley bone stock is as much of a statement as customization. If I were to purchase a new bike it would be a wideglide. Then I would leave it stock other than a rack for a bag and a pad for a backrest. Oh, maybe a seat if the stock one proves uncomfortable. I would 'make it mine' by simple keeping it stock.

i was painting my motors and jugs black long before you bought them that way, i did buy a flat black St, bob i couldnt wait any longer for a gloss black one.. every new new bike i bougt was black , until this one.. i like chrome, i dont care ya dont, up to you.. BUT TALL SHOCKS????
