I dropped mine off tonight at the dealership. He said if the mounts bad he will just replace it. If its still good he will probaly just shave it so the recommended clearance is there.

Wow, nice dealership you got there! You didn't get the it's normal speech. You'll probably notice a good difference in vibes when you get it back. A lot less!!

Ok, so I had to go take a look at mine, does this look ok? There's only a couple thousand miles on the bike. I couldn't tell if this is ok or not.

It looks like it's touching? If it is then no I don't think its OK. I mean it doesn't make it unrideable, it will just give some extra vibes.

This is such huge known issue going back for years to the first Dyna models. It is really disappointing that the MoCo has not addressed this with a new mount design.

So is that what they decided to tell everyone that brought their bike in under warranty in order to insure they got something out of you..... I got the same speech. Even said the bearing is going bad, I asked how he knew, and he fell all over himself trying to tell me he could hear it when he spun the tire. Guess what, the tire was never taken out of the front wheel chock. He didnt spin a damn thing.
