They actually both have have spokes.

The mags are easier maintenance and balancing, and EZ on roadside flat fix. But laced wheels are way better looking.

You are correct sir. Forgive my less then perfect terminology. The spokes on the mags are far easier to maintain than the spokes on laced wheels. I will try not to let that happen again.
