Pro:
They hug the road like duct tape.
Con:
Seem to wear out fast
+1. Had them on my Royal Star Tour Deluxe. It's as heavy as any bagger HD makes. Great traction...the best wet weather tire on the planet...but don't expect more than 10K miles on them.
I'd run them on the Harley, but I ride the Harley more than any bike I've ever owned and the Dunlops are working good for me.
I also have the Venom on the front (110) and the Ultra Storm (stock size) on the rear. Great handling tires. As for wearing out fast, I have 9000 miles on the back one. The stock Dunlop lasted 7K and I couldn't/wouldn't run it as hard.
I have 10K on my Avon Venoms and love them compared to the original Dunlops. Not only do the Avons stick better but you won't notice any front end shimmy when running over metal grates on bridges or rain grooves that are cut into the pavement. I run mine 40-40 psi when riding one-up and 40-44 psi two-up. Though they have 10K on them, they still have plenty tread that should last another 2-4K.
tried a set on my softail, looked cool, too sticky for my taste thoo... sticks to corners too much if that makes sense, they wore out quick too.
now I run the metzeler 880
