Default I decided for the price to get a spare set

of hooker pipes-Just an fyi-they went from 99 dollars for my original set (had a couple minor issues with first, loose clamp and baffle rattle, both easily fixed) to 49$ a set. So i needed a new holley carb for my boat and decided to see if holley performance still had any motorcycle exhaust left and decided that for less than 100 bux delivered i cannot really go wrong with an extra pair. The hookers i originally bought for 99 dollars are 2 years old now and im happy with them, and they sound good. Still plenty of cheap pipes left if anyones looking. Beats the f*** outta 500$ in my mind.ive heard about the cheap flaking chrome, etc but havnt experianced that .

That's a great deal on some pipes. When they first started clearing out inventory, several years ago, I bought a set of the black Troublemakers for my Train. They were awesome pipes, and held up great. No idea on the chrome, but for that price, a person could always have them coated later on, if needed. Wish they had some for 06+ models.

Or if you are running a tuner you don't need the 02 sensors so no worries

dabreeze, will you post up pics of your pipes on your bike? and which ones do you have right now?

I might pick up a set of those rebel longs, but i want to know just how long they are. Don't want them to look weird with my bobtail fender.

Sounds like a good deal to me, around $100 for a new exhaust. I like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/?cmd=...#ht_2164wt_939

Just got my 2 into 1 fixed up and installed though. But, for that price, would be nice to have a set put up just for the hell of it...

Those are the ones i might buy, but the picture is wrong. It says the picture is the mid length staggered & the long staggered is what they are ACTUALLY selling.

So i think they will look like these : hooker rebel long staggered slash cut

I saw that too. I tried to Google the part # and see what it showed, but I couldn't find anything since they are discontinued. Either one would be just fine though...
