Did precision do your pipes mike??
Check everything they touched.....

Mine used to do that until I had a complete remap. The bike is running very lean, especially on a hot day. The gas we get isn't the best these days. You'll need to downshift. But even then, I'd get a little pre-ignition on hard roll on throttle before the remap. I did SERT, intake, and Rush slipons. I dont get that "tick" anymore!

She's got a stage 1 sert and V and H ,2 into 1 pipe. Maybe it is running lean. During the winter I'll have the dealer check it out.

I believe that it's a preignition knock(ping),is it worse on a hot day?

I never noticed if it's worse but it's still there on a cold day. It's not a knock like you get on a car, not the clunk clunk.
